Just finished Soundtracks by Jon Acuff and WOW — this one hit me right where I live. 🙃
If you’ve ever gotten stuck in a loop of overthinking, self-doubt, or replaying the same negative “what ifs” in your head, this book is basically a reset button. Acuff calls those repetitive thoughts our soundtracks — and the good news is you can actually change them (without pretending life is perfect).
My biggest takeaway: you don’t have to believe every thought you think. You can recognize the ones that aren’t helping you and replace them with something true, helpful, and forward-moving.
It’s practical, funny, super easy to read, and honestly motivating without being cheesy. I highlighted a ton and already caught myself changing a few of my “default” thoughts this week.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) — Highly recommend if you want to stop spiraling and start building better thought patterns.
