- What products or services does your business provide? Outsourced accounting, controller, and CFO services for businesses and nonprofit organizations.
- What needs or challenges does your business help customers solve? Our clients are beyond basic bookkeeping but not yet ready for a full-time Controller or CFO. By offering tailored, fractional engagements, clients can pay for the expertise that is needed, not 100% of an executive’s time.
- Who is your ideal customer, client or referral? Our ideal clients are growing (annual revenue of at least $1M), with fewer than 3 in-house accounting staff.
- What makes your business different from others in your industry? OCFO is intentionally different from traditional accounting firms, and we have embraced that difference as our advantage. Our approach to service is modern, flexible, warm, customized, proactive, and accessible. Ultimately, we position accounting as a growth tool, and not just a compliance function, which differs from traditional accounting and bookkeeping firms.
- What do your customers value most about working with your company? Our clients value having a responsive, knowledgeable financial partner. We make the financial information easier to understand, and also provide proactive guidance.
- Is there a product, service or area of your business you would especially like to highlight? We love helping business owners and nonprofit directors better understand and plan for cash flow. Our OCFO Cash Flow™ tool provides a forward-looking picture of where cash is coming from, where it’s going, and what may be ahead. It also helps answer one of the most common questions we hear, “We’re profitable, but where is all the cash?”
- What recent achievement, expansion or milestone is your business proud of? We are so thrilled to have been nominated for the chamber Small Business of the Year for 2026.
