We’re excited to introduce the inspiring women who make the Columbia Chamber of Commerce Women’s Network such a welcoming and valuable community!
- What is your name, hometown and current role?
Jaclyn Rogers, originally from Evansville, Indiana, and currently serving as Client Relations Manager at Ai Painting Plus.
- Tell us a little about yourself—family, children, pets or anything else you’d like to share.
My family and I have called Columbia, Missouri home since 2012, and we truly love being part of this community. I’ve been married to my husband, Clay Rogers, for 11 years, and we have one son, Zane, along with our 5-year-old pug, Tank. My husband has worked with the University of Missouri Athletic Department since we moved here, so we are definitely big Mizzou enthusiasts! We also love supporting Columbia’s local restaurants and businesses and really enjoy everything the community has to offer.
- How would your friends or coworkers describe you?
My friends and coworkers would describe me as outgoing, positive, friendly, and enthusiastic. I genuinely enjoy connecting with people, bringing good energy to a team, and being someone others can count on when they need help or support.
- What do you enjoy most about your role or company?
What I enjoy most about my role is the people. I love building relationships with our clients and having the opportunity to make a positive impact in their lives. Whether I’m helping someone feel more comfortable and confident about a project, connecting them with the right solution, or simply being a reliable point of contact, those relationships are what make my work so rewarding. I also really value being part of the Ai Painting Plus team and representing a company that cares about its customers, its community, and the experience we provide from start to finish.
- What inspired you to pursue your career, and how did you get started?
Ironically, my career path started in retail management. I’ve always gravitated toward roles centered on customer service, client engagement, and building relationships. I genuinely enjoy encouraging people, creating positive experiences, and helping others feel supported. When I entered the painting industry, I quickly saw an opportunity to bring more of that relationship-focused approach into a trade that is often viewed primarily from the technical side. I love being able to combine strong customer care with the craftsmanship our team provides and help make the entire experience more personal, comfortable, and positive for our clients.
- What are you currently reading, watching or listening to?
I love audiobooks because I’m always in the car! Recently, I’ve really enjoyed The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins and Presence by Amy Cuddy, and Good to Great by Jim Collins is another favorite. On the more fun side, I’m a big fan of mystery and psychological thrillers, especially authors like Freida McFadden and Stacy Willingham. Music-wise, I love Noah Kahan, Taylor Swift, and I’ll always have a soft spot for great ’90s and early-2000s music.
- What recent accomplishment or personal milestone are you proud of?
One accomplishment I’m especially proud of is being selected as one of Columbia Business Times’ 20 Under 40 honorees this year. This is a huge personal and professional milestone for me, and I’m incredibly honored to be recognized among so many talented leaders in our community. I’m also proud to currently serve as Chair of Women’s Network and as President of my BNI chapter, Show Me Referrals, while staying involved with ACA Business Club. Each of these opportunities has challenged me to grow as a leader, build meaningful relationships, and continue finding ways to support and connect others. Being recognized for that growth and involvement through 20 Under 40 is something I’m truly proud of.
- What do you value most about being part of Women’s Network?
What I value most about being part of Women’s Network is the opportunity to build organic, authentic relationships with other women in our community. The connections go far beyond traditional networking—they turn into genuine friendships, trusted referral relationships, mentorship, collaboration, and support. Women’s Network has also given me opportunities to serve on committees, grow as a leader, and now serve as Chair. I love being part of a group that encourages women to show up for one another, share opportunities, celebrate successes, and help each other grow both personally and professionally.
- What is a fun or surprising fact people may not know about you?
A fun fact about me is that I grew up dancing competitively because my mom was a dance teacher. In 2001, I even competed on Star Search! I made it through several rounds, although I never quite made it to the big screen. Another fun fact is that I’ve done mystery shopping in the past, which probably says a lot about me—I’ve always been fascinated by the customer experience and what makes people feel genuinely cared for.
- How can fellow members support, refer or connect with you?
Fellow members can support me by keeping Ai Painting Plus in mind when they hear of someone needing residential or commercial painting, cabinet updates, drywall repair, or other painting-related services. I’m always happy to be a resource, make connections, or simply have a conversation—so please feel free to reach out anytime. Outside of work, I’m also always up for talking books, joining a book club, checking out a great local restaurant, or having a fun conversation. I’m definitely a foodie and love connecting with people both professionally and personally.
